After the interesting visit and tour we had to San Anton Palace earlier this year, it was our wish to get the chance to visit Verdala Palace in Rabat as well. After communications with the office of The President of Malta, we are pleased to inform you that this visit will now materialize.
We have been advised that it is the Office's policy not to allow any group to exceed 50 persons. Therefore the booking will be on first come first served basis, and all those interested to join are advised to inform us and book beforehand by phoning Mary Rose Caruana on Tel: 21370778, 27370778 and Mob: 79370778. We will be meeting at 9.45am inside the Palace Gates for the tour to start at 10.am.
Punctuality is of utmost importance.
A guide will be in attendance to give us a guided tour and information about the Palace. There will be a small fee of €3.50. per person. This will help towards the expenses of the guide, and also towards giving a donation to The Community Chest Fund.
Unfortunately there is no public transport to Verdala. For those coming by bus there is a 20 minute walk from Rabat. Please check with the Public Transport Authority whether it is the Dingli Bus or the Rabat Bus that would bring you closer to Verdala Palace.
